We are hiring across Amazon Stores in the United States and Canada. Opportunities are available in teams such as:

• Consumer Technology – Build features and products for Amazon.com, improving the experience for billions of customers and sellers worldwide. Projects range from site-wide systems (reviews, recommendations) to specialized domains (Pharmacy, Electronics, Digital Software, Video Games).

• Operations Technology – Design intelligent systems that power Amazon’s global transportation network—supporting fulfillment centers, delivery operators, and millions of customers by making logistics faster, more reliable, and more cost-effective.

• Financial Technology – Create scalable financial systems that process billions in transactions annually. Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and deployment of critical financial applications using modern big data technologies.

• Human Resources Technology – Build tools that support millions of Amazonians, from onboarding and recruiting to time management and compensation, creating seamless, intuitive, and scalable HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own front-end, back-end, or full-stack development of scalable features.

• Deliver high-quality solutions through the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, CI/CD, security, and operations.

• Collaborate across teams with product managers, stakeholders, and engineers.

• Translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 2+ years of system design or architecture experience (patterns, scalability, reliability)

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle (code reviews, testing, builds, deployment, operations)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay ranges from $129,300/year to $223,600/year, depending on location and experience.

• Total compensation may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and other benefits.
